MOL and EnviroNor Conclude Memorandum of Understanding on Collaboration on Seawater Desalination Vessels -Aiming to Provide New Solutions to Solve Global Water Shortage Issues.

MOL Lines, Ltd. and EnviroNor AS, have recently signed a memorandum of understanding regarding collaboration on a seawater desalination vessel (Note 1), and have started collaborating toward commercialization.

By combining MOL's many years of experience in building, owning, and operating ships with EnviroNor's knowledge of seawater desalination, we will be able to provide new solutions to water shortages around the world. , construction of seawater desalination vessels, and acquisition of business opportunities.

The commercialization of the seawater desalination carrier was proposed through the MOL Incubation Bridge (Note 2) employee proposal system, and led to the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding with EnviroNor.
